About Attorney Tim Kiefer
Tim Kiefer, a 1998 graduate of Harvard Law School, is a former Dane County assistant district attorney and former Wisconsin assistant attorney general.
As an assistant district attorney, Tim Kiefer prosecuted drunk driving, white collar cases, and drug cases. He has taken over 25 cases to jury trial, including two homicide cases. In 2009, he argued and won a drunk driving case in the Wisconsin Supreme Court, 2009 WI 49, 317 Wis.2d 383. He has presented to statewide prosecutors’ conferences on the subject of white-collar crime, and he previously served as the Dane County Drug Court prosecutor.
